After a season filled with crashes and spills he's come back to the hunt. Here he is in charging the mountain in Jackson Hole Wyoming. Our hope, of course is some sort of scholarship to an engineering study in an elite university on the east coast. However what he wants is what the educational program presents not so much for the ski program. (after all how many great racers end up in the Olympics-and then what) Right now he's got straight As in all AP classes (Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, English, History) Of course we are happy to help. I mean we are grandparents-right? In any event we are so glad he ended the season without any serious injuries and did so well ( 17th world wide in racers his age with the last name of "Smith"
. I only wish is I could interest him in free diving. But no-he's in Sacramento-so what chance is there?. In any event, we're there no matter what his choices are.
