base your unemployment on a percentage of whatever you earned in your job when you lost it.. I've read that the unemployment benefits since covid are much higher than they either were, or normally were, before covid.. its just what I've read, but if they're going to give you more money to stay home than you'd earn if you worked, to me there's no doubt people are gonna ride that train as long as possible..
