it slightly misleading the way it is written but fair enough. nevertheless the question still stands. how is the issue "put to rest". The fact that the quote is from an article published last month doesn't make the quote less accurate. Moreover, the data provided through 2000 are simply raw counts that continue a downward trend over the last few years. It is hardly conclusive. The Appleby study is much better.
