Not sure why we have it because it seem like just a few visits and you've used up your coverage for the year. And those few visits can be for minimal care by a dental assistant such as cleaning. Recently had a root canal and that was it for the year.
I may be off by $1,000. I've already paid $7113.00 to the periodontist but haven't been billed by the dentist for the crown yet because we're not ready in the process to start that phase yet. Not sure if the crown for an implant costs the same as a "regular" crown. I'm pretty sure it's going to run AT LEAST $1,100 but I have no idea what the exact cost will be. I'm expecting the total implant cost to be between $8,000-$9,000. I didn't really know anything about dental implants before embarking into getting one for myself. I'd heard they were expensive but had no clue what that meant until they gave me the estimate. I about choked!! I have so much money invested in my mouth over the past 30 years I feel like I should be able to add a steering wheel and 4 tires to my mouth 'cause I KNOW I could have paid cash for a new car with what I've spent on teeth and gums over the years.
