That's not bad if your dental insurance picked up the rest. I paid out of pocket for two crowns at once in 2014 and it cost me $2,168. I paid out of pocket for a crown in January 2019 and it cost me $1,187. When I was working and had dental insurance, I think I paid around $600-$700 per crown and insurance picked up the rest.
