This is a decent article about bending space. It addresses time travel via speed of light as something possible, but from physicists I've listened to, that is NOT possible, theoretically or otherwise. But hell, some scientists recently discovered how to manipulate atoms via magnetism instead of electricity, which everyone thought was impossible.
