My A1C jacked up because I was eating like absolute S**T for several months with probably way too much alcohol thrown in. AND I had gotten off 90% of my exercise. My last blood draw was a month ago. It was 6.0 for A1C. That was only a month or two removed from several months of gluttony. I have since done MUCH better with diet and exercise.....ZERO alcohol in 3 months and have cut way back on my junk intake. I look at it this way.....If I can even maintain 6.0 or even MUCH better, drop to 5.9 when I do my next lab on 26 April, I will be stoked. Because though I have not been slam dunk perfect with diet the last month or so, I have done MUCH better. I wanna see if that is enough . THEN, if I have to, I'll tighten the screws accordingly. I just wanna see if my numbers are from going Bat Poop Crazy last Fall with my diet. Also, it's about to get REALLY hot here in the next few weeks. My workouts are about to get more intense. Simply mowing the grass in 98 degrees will clean out the system a bit!
