Can you still get covid? Yes
Well, it does reduce your chances (by 95% for Pfizer) and if you do get it you will almost certainly have a milder case than if you weren't vaccinated. Can you still transit covid to other people? Yes
No one has said for sure that you can transmit covid once you are fully vaccinated. All anyone has said is they don't know one way or the other because that wasn't studied during the vaccine testing. All they tested was whether vaccinated people got sick or not. They are studying it now, though. And observational studies in places like Israel tend to say that vaccinated people don't transmit covid. [www.reuters.com]Can you stop wearing a mask? No
Actually, the CDC says "The CDC says fully vaccinated people can now safely gather indoors, in small gatherings with other people who are fully vaccinated – no mask required. " [health.clevelandclinic.org] And they go on to say that masking is going to be with us until we reach herd immunity. So even though we can't ditch the mask yet everyone who gets vaccinated moves us closer to herd immunity (which means closer to ditching the mask.) And my personal opinion: people who are vaccinated probably don't need to wear a mask anymore, but if the CDC said that only the unvaccinated needed to wear a mask you can bet that a lot of unvaccinated folks would ditch their mask since have 2 separate requirements is pretty much unenforceable. Can you stop social distancing? No
Same answer as the mask answer.
That's the key, the part I red-bolded.
