Then in all due respect you are reading the wrong things and don't see how herd immunity works.
Vaccinate a certain percentage of the population and the virus goes away because it cannot spread. Same way it works with small pox, measles, mumps, and so on.
For everything you can name you read that denies that I can produce 100 things from hardcore medical sources saying exactly what I just said.
