Re: I'm just glad it was scheduled today.

We have liquor in the house but rarely drink it. We used to enjoy going out to a neighborhood bar and having appetizers/dinner and drinks 2-3 times a month but as we aged and began to encounter various health issues, our desire to continue doing that kind of waned. We weren't told we couldn't drink or anything like that. We just lost the desire to do it. We usually have a celebratory margarita (the kind that's already pre-mixed) like at the end of baseball season or football season and maybe for our wedding anniversary but that's about it. Heck we don't even drink on New Year's Eve or during the holiday season anymore. It wasn't planned that way. Just kind of evolved that way. A shame, too, cause there's some drinks I really, REALLY like and miss (whiskey sours, margaritas, and Hummingbirds are my favorites).
