Did you know they still made them? I did not... until I opened my pantry this morning and saw a box of them on the cereal shelf. Well... I HAD to have some... had to have been 50 years or more since my last bowl of Frosted Flakes -
My review... good golly they are SWEET. Too sweet for me... not bad tasting, actually, but I had a tough time finishing a bowl of them. I compared them to LIFE and made a somewhat surprising discovery, (I love LIFE btw), - Life is nearly as sweet as Frosted Flakes. Seriously.. not that much difference.
I love cereal, I could eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner BUT... I don't eat cereal that often these days. Love Grape Nuts, Raisin Bran, that's probably my top two. I like, I think, all cereals but some I can easily do without - like Fruit Loops, Lucky Charms... and most of today's cereals I've never tried.
Granola's are good but I get sick of them quickly... like before I finish one bowl... I can only eat granola's rarely.
I have never been a Corn Flakes kinda guy... I have ALWAYS been a Cheerio's kinda guy.
I much prefer hot cereals - Oatmeal, Cream O' Wheat. Always with brown sugar... and I also add butter, REAL butter, which makes most everyone else sick to think about but it's heaven to me.
