I drive it almost every week..

Usually Fridays are my Spider days, but this is a small town, so still don't put very many miles on it.. for quite a while - before I got my newer truck - I drove Spidey to work and back every day, which was 26 miles roundtrip on the highway.. that's where most of the miles I put on her came from.. Had I not had to do that, probably would still have around 45-50K on her..

In driving every week it keeps the battery charged (although I do all of a sudden have a vampire drain somewhere) and running well.. I've replace a lot of things in it: I replaced the Zenith stromberg carbs with Weber carbs (it has two carburettors) replaced the crummy alternator with one out of a Mini Cooper than it perfectly and added 35 amps of power, new sound system, alarm, brakes, all new poly-bushings all around.. I could go on..

I need, more than anything, to get her painted.. she still looks good from ten feet, but really needs a paint job.. nobody wants to paint it in town, tho.. I've been turned down by everyone I took her to..
