Hosted one for the Rams / Titans. The ex and I had about 16 people over. FOUR of us actually...WATCHED THE GAME. SO HELP ME.......In the middle of that last drive by the Titans, one of my ex's friends decides to come in the Den and pester me about where extra ice and cups are. I snapped...."Down the street at the store".
Even worse was a bud of mine hosting a party for the Rams / Pats in SB 36. There was about FORTY at that one and only THREE of us watched the game. My Bud's Wife turned the volume down on the big inside TV because it was disturbing conversations about.......HER ART WORK!! They had a 20 inch TV set up outside, in FREEZING weather. About 7-8 people came outside to yap by the fire, just as the Rams started coming back. I was already in a pissy mood when the Pats won the game. That would be my last Super Bowl Party. Two years ago, I had my boys come over and that was it! It was VERY nice...except the outcome.
Look up Bill Burr on Conan, on Youtube, talking about Super Bowl parties! When he uses the word "Rage" it cracks me up every time.
