A number of the planes from the movie ended up in Texas, stored for decades.

Wilson "Connie" Edwards got then when he worked on the film. He worked as a Pilot and stunt coordinator and instead of film credit and $ he got some of the planes. Story I read was he wouldn't accept IOUs for his work and demanded planes.

Sold at auction In 2015 or so, buyers were planning on restoring some .
