This Zero kit is 40+ years old.

I last built it around 1979. I started it way back in July. To be honest, I stopped working on it after we lost our cat , Colonel. It was just tooo hard to go to the desk and not have him there, like when I built my USS Hornet last year. The only issues I had was with the 40 year old decals. They are aged and thin. I could not coat them with dull coat without them falling apart. I TRIED it with the yellow decal stripes that WERE on the front wing edge. The dull coat made them bubble and fall apart. I had to paint the yellow stripes. It was a fun build. Took me back to being a kid. I was surprised to find this classic on line.
