I delete without even a 2nd thought all those emails. I use my cell phone for just the purpose of the phone itself, I call on it, no texts, no social media....I sound like a cave man I know, but I don't give an opportunity simply because in this world today I don't exist, I'm off the grid. Believe it or not, if you haven't ever engaged with social media you don't miss it at all, or for that matter feel as though you are missing out on something big.
As far as the scamming going on IMO if you engage with them even in the slightest it's just more opportunity for them to do 'their thing". Personally I would not question them to verify anything....give no time, offer no time.
