Kerman still has a lot of hope for Sean Chambers, QB at Wyoming... but wow he's had a rough start. He's missed nearly 2 complete season with 2 broken bones.
My oldest grandson is joining a new league in Fresno... 7 on 7 passing league. I guess there will be several ex-D1 players involved as well as some retired NFL players. Have you ever seen a 7 on 7 tournament? If not, I think you'd be surprised... they are extremely entertaining. I really expect a league to eventually form and 7 on 7 will become a 'new' sport. When my oldest grandson was a Freshman, 2013, we used to go to the "Bash On The Beach" in Morro Bay for a 7 on 7 tourney. Nearly every top school in Ca. attended... Division didn't matter.. D1 played D6, in other words. You'd be surprised that without blocking or tackling the D6 teams could often compete well, even beat, the D1 schools.
Not sure when this new league is firing up but I think VERY soon. - JamesJM
