When I joined, Recruiters were relentless. ALL branches needed warm bodies. These days, not so much. Now if the Iran crap gets really nasty, I bet MEPS will say... "What Waiver??"" If you DO join, YOU are gonna have to make it happen. Recruiters are just middle guys who relay paper work. I will say with YOUR situation, they might be more forthcoming. Hell, when I joined the USAF, the Army Recruiter would NOT leave me alone. So help me, he called my house twice.....AFTER I left for Boot Camp! It was annoying but I sure wish my Son had the same problem.
