Don't take this wrong... I loved Vin...

but I remember once listening to his call on the radio... can't remember the specific game, year, or anything else... BUT... the situation was CRITICAL and near the end of the game. Batter comes to the plate... everyone listening is on edge... and Vin begins a story... tells the story, ends the story... AFTER FINISHING the story said something like this, "Oh, by the way, so and so struck out".

I couldn't believe it... but the more I thought about it... can't say I thought it was good broadcasting, (I think Vin was phenomenal, just to be clear), but it was definitely one for the record books.
