Assuming the Dodger lost last night. Wouldn't the team be quarantined for a final game 7 tonight? If so would the game have been cancelled? Since it would be unfair to the Rays for them to not play would the Dodgers have forfeited the final game? Would the series have ended in a tie?
One notion is that all the remaining members would be tested and if negative the game would still have been on. That is how its been done daily during the "bubble". However, that is fine when there is no one that tests positive. But if one person is infected its a different story. The only trustworthy protocol would be to quarantine the team, the other team, coaches, management, family members in contact, etc. That is what the NFL did recently when they postponed games.
What a weird season this has been for the players, families, coaches, fans, etc. Lets all stay safe as the cold weather begins.
