I don't think the Dodgers have an all star team.. They have a lot of good power hitters. What they don't have is reliable starting pitchers and a reliable bull pen. Forget the record, Atlanta has a better team. Better pitching and better relievers. The starting pitchers were not addressed in the off season. I'm at fault as anyone for not realizing how good Atlanta was. Because of COVID we simply didn't see much of the eastern teams, if at all.

In the playoffs it's always been about pitching. Buehler can't be relied upon because of the blister. Kershaw has thrown too many innings over a long career and hasn't been the same for a long time. But he's still good enough to be a starter for the Dodgers -and therein it becomes a problem for the management.
