THEN????? It was TAAAAAAABOO TV!! I still recall hearing news stories of if it was appropriate. It was one of Meryl Streeps (sp?) first flicks. My Parents actually WANTED me to see it! I was only 10 BUT, even then, was a WWII history buff and somewhat understood the violence of war. But I do recall that series being quite shocking for a 10 year old. BUT, it MADE me understand what it was about and ultimately read MORE about it. I am actually greatful my Parents let me watch it.
