Anyone remember Tales of the Gold Monkey TV show ?

back in the early 80's

when Indiana Jones became a hit , the TV networks tried to cash in ,

with their own Indiana Jones type TV shows

although the only one I remember watching was Tales of the Gold Monkey

like the others , it only lasted on season

the others were cancelled for poor ratings I'm sure , but if I remember right , Tales of the Gold Monkey actually got pretty decent ratings , but was cancelled after one season as well , but more for creative differences and cost , guess it was a pretty expensive TV show for a weekly show

anyways

have only seen the show once , and that was back when it was originally on , like in 1982 , haven't seen it since , but always remembered it , and have looked for it from time to time

the wife and I were in Walmart yesterday , and low and behold , there it was , the complete season, only one copy left , so I snagged it up

looks like I have something to watch for the rest of the week







one of the other shows was , Bring Them Back Alive

we never watched this one much , there must have been something else on one of the other channels we lijked better
