Beans on Toast

I'd never eaten Beans on Toast before

I've eaten other things on toast before , like chipped beef and stuff , but never baked beans

I watch a fair amount of British Television , and over the years , I've noticed several shows mention Beans on Toast several times

so apparently Beans on Toast is a very popular meal in Britain

didn't sound all that appetizing to me , although I do like toast and I do like beans , just never thought of them together

sooooooooooooooo..................

today I thought I'd try it , and you know what , it taste like beans .............on toast

wasn't actually to bad at all , liked it actually

I didn't get to fancy with it , by adding anything else , apparently it's acceptable to add , addings like cheese or egg and stuff

but being my first time played it safe , I'll get a little more daring next time



my only regret was not being able to actually use Heinz Baked Beans , apparently , you're not allowed to use any other kind of bean while in Britain , I looked , but couldn't find any here , had to use Bush's instead

Custard Tarts

seems to be another popular item in Britain , now if I can just find a place close by that sells them , a quest in it's self
