I believe, I was told...

August 04, 2020 02:38PM
long ago on a Universal City Studio tour that the final scene was filmed at the pond on Universal's backlot. The Truman Show was also filmed on that pond, as well as more movies than I could possibly mention here. There is a huge backdrop on the north end of the pond that they can use to create any background needed... painted or "green screened".

I think I mentioned this next movie tidbit here on this board some time back. Guides today mention very few of the old classic movies during the tours... only those movies that are iconic... like the Clock in Back To The Future, the Psycho House.... but most are forgotten, at least by today's 'tour guides'... so I believe I'm the only living person who knows precisely where "The Fugitive", (TV SHOW), fell into the ditch during the opening credits. Possibly where Frankenstein entered the village under the arch, (original movie)... and several other locales.

Oddly today's guides don't even mention the stars' dressing cottages at all... like Lucille Ball, Bogard, etc.
