And it happens more times than I care to think.
For starters, I hate going to the store for just one item.
If and when I absolutely have to have a certain item. . . right now! I'll think of a few other items to get since I'm going to be there anyway. I get my little cart and start surfing the aisles. . . pick up some of the "I really don't need them, but I'll get them anyway" since I'm here. And then I see something on sale. I cannot resist a good sale . . . so I'll stock up.
I then cash out. And return home.
OK. . . pop quiz. What went wrong. Correct. . . the one item I absolutely had to get and couldn't do without isn't in the bag. I completely forgot to get it.
Or there's also the times I've made out these elaborate lists. . . get to the store. . . and THEN realize I left it at home. I've tried to mentally replicate it. Total failure.
