Brooks was funny on his own account....IMO White needed a writer..she was a good actress for the comedy, but she needed a writer to be funny. I'd put Carol Burnett over Betty White....yes she used writers as well but she was in movies, shows and had her own show with many funny men and held her own with the likes of Tim Conway, Harvey Korman, and all her guest people..
