Yeah not all dogs are the same.

Our last dog, Bondi (bawn-dye) would never touch a plate a human was eating from. My wife would sometimes eat alone while watching tv, would leave full plates on a low coffee table and go get something in another room, come back, and Bondi would not have even looked at it funny. (Which didn't stop him from begging once she was back.)

All previous dogs I've had, you didn't dare do that. They were all good dogs, but you did not leave unattended human food around in reaching distance.
