The vulnerable should continue to quarantine themselves voluntarily, but the rest of us should be just fine with the masks in crowded situations.
.
It's a two-way street. Using your equation. . . the covid positive "Healthy" must isolate themselves from the vulnerable. . .(elderly over 65, diabetics, those with severe asthma conditions, cancer survivors, women who are pregnant and anyone with compromised immune systems). Otherwise you defeat the purpose of what you propose.
You're the one who argued that masks don't work. And while they actually do, they don't eliminate 100% of the infections.
You misunderstand me, Rambeau, for some reason.
My position is not that complicated.
The vulnerable should self quarantine. My own asthma suffering daughter-in-law does this. The vulnerable would thus be as safe as possible.
But the non vulnerable should be allowed to work and enjoy their lives. If they do get infected, so what? It’s like catching a cold for them, risk wise. The virus will run it's course for them and one more person will now have antibodies.
Why make 100% of society quarantine when just a small percentage are even at risk? It’s insane.
