By the time we got outside Luna was under a table and Roxy, (the Siberian), was getting ready to attack.... without question Luna had already been attacked but we didn't see it... we just noticed the saliva on her belly.
There was not a visible mark on Luna, none at all, other than the saliva. She didn't limp or exhibit any outward sign of injury at all. Even the Vet remarked how Luna was NOT in any pain... I don't know how they determine that.
Can trauma alone cause death? I suppose it's possible, I really don't know. But to all appearances it looked that way... as if she simply gave up on life. I believe there was injury, internal, but who knows?
