IMO Vietnam changed our country. We lost our innocence-if we ever had it. I recently finished a fine book by Steve Sheinkin called "Most Dangerous". Its the story of Daniel Ellsberg and the secret history of the Vietnam war. I highly recommend it. Indeed it makes visiting the Washington D.C. Vietnam memorial all that much more difficult. All those precious lives lost for ? Now Nam is a valued destination for vacationers.
