And not to start a conversation. . .Those returning from Nam were met with derision. . . unlike those coming off a WWII troop ship who were met by raucous, flag-waving throngs, parades and celebrations. Granted, the returning Nam vets filtered back. . . not in mass. But for me that changes nothing and although I ended not going over I'll always be a little resentful of that. The coverage contributed heavily to that.
