Had no idea a wet antenna was better... Regarding my cable internet, I went through a 3 year phase that whenever it rained, I lost internet.. In fact, even if it was barely sprinkling.. then.... just if it was a high humidity day.. Bang - zero internet if the humidity was above 90%..
Most ridiculous thing ever.. kept calling it in, and they didn't believe me.. finally, after 3 years they sent someone out who realized there was a crack in one of their doo-hickeys that caused connection to die when it got wet, or even just humid...
