California is a huge market for papaya, bananas, mango, avacado, guavas, etc and they comply strictly with our restrictions on pesticides. Besides that they grow easier across our southern border and are delicious.

You've got more trust in what produce crosses that border than I do.

I know Calif has as highly regulated food chain as there is in the country.
