whether it's a new film that was filmed digitally in HD , or a old film like Jaws that was filmed on old 35 MM film , and the converted to HD
turns out I already had Jaws on Vudu in HDX , which I guess is pretty much the same as 4K
probably also depends if you're watching a 4K disk on a 4K players as apposed to streaming it on Vudu or Netfix or something
but even with new films , I've switched back and forth from HDX to UHD , and I can't tell any difference , maybe if you did a side to side comparison................maybe
they do do a good with older films though , like It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World on HDX , and it really looks Good
but we also have movies like Smokey and the Bandit on HDX , that looks a little grainy
