1. Just got a 5 month old german shepard, to go w/ our 10 yr old shepard. Drives us all nuts, chews everything, but has stopped pooping in the house and pucking in the car, so it's getting better.
2. Wiffie and I are going on picnics every afternoon, 1/2 mile from home, even though the Buffalo National River is closed ( I know the backways in).
3. All tourism is closed down, so we are working in the yard everyday, kinda good, maybe. But the ticks and chiggers are having a feast. Someone here stated that it's now between Lymes disease and Covid.
4. Wiffie and I have rekindled romance, nuff said.........
5. The house can't get much cleaner.
6. Out of boredom, I believe Wiffie is now starting to wash "clean" clothes.
&. Utter than this, we can't much tell the difference here yet, After the "surge" our 2 stores are fully stocked and the feed store now delivers.
Funny but, we have two out of three properties for sale, not many lookers all winter, but in the last 3 weeks or so have showings every other day. Folks from other states, I guess they are wanting to get the hell out of Dodge. (NOT the home we are living in)
Again, funny the way you plan things, then life takes over. Kept these properties for the kids one day. But no interest in moving back here to Mayberry. So we were in the process of selling the farm and had decided to keep the houses in town. Then covid, we have since stopped the sale, moved back to the farm and decided to sell the homes in town.
Then (out of the blue?) 2 daughters ring me up, "dad still got those houses on the market". Been trying to get them back here for years.
Hold the presses: I have now switched from scotch to red wine. Doing my part to stay healthy.............
