I liked Pederson OK, but he is what he is. He swings from his heels every time and is one of those feast of famine guys. He's a good player but is a .240 hitter with good power that will strike out twice as much as he walks.

I honestly can't believe all the Dodgers had to part with was Verdugo (a good young player), Pederson and Maeda as part of this. Not losing Lux or May was huge. And the Red Sox pay half of Price's salary. Now that guy is somewhat of a head case but at $16M to be their likely 4th starter fine by me. He'll have somewhat less scrutiny in LA vs. BOS so maybe that helps.
