Future Star Wars films going MCUish

January 07, 2020 11:41AM
Word is..........

starting in 2022 , when the next Star Wars film is due to release ,,

the new films will no longer use the trilogy format that they have used before

but will be taking a page from Marvel

the new Star Wars films will be a series of films that will follow several different characters , but all ties together into one time line , in the same way that Marvel's MCU films do

the new films will take place in a era called The High Republic , which takes place 400 years before the Skywalker trilogy movies

I am familiar with Star Wars : Old Republic which takes place a 1,000 years before the Skywalker trilogy movies

but the High Republic , I have no idea
