I wanted to see the Ferrari movie but she wanted to see Midway-which alone is surprising since my father died in a plane crash during WW2. It is a very good movie that portrays the war's morality-if one can say war has morals-on both sides. Historically I believe it was fairly accurate. I'm not sure the acting was Oscar worthy but the movie might well be-especially the special effects. My one sentence sum of the movie is: this was an old fashioned Hollywood action movie based on an accurate portrayal of a historical WW2 battle. What can be better?
