I always wanted to be..

the ball turret gunner.. it just looked like the coolest place to be - spinning around with your 50 calibers blowing planes outta the sky.. but, it supposedly was the most dangerous place on the plane.. Lots killed by flak, lots killed by faulty landing gear.. from what I understand, once you were locked in, you couldn't get out until the plane landed, so they lost a lot of ball turret gunners on landing or crash landing..

I got to man the tail gunner spot in a B-25 as we flew around town and the view was spectacular.. just incredible.. so, yeah that would have been a good spot for the view, but I imagine that was a hot bed of lead when Fokker's were flying by..

Really, dunno, although, like Is aid, ball turret gunner was the coolest, to me..
