These aren't 'reviews', per se.

I watched "The Time Machine" starring Guy Pearce. I wasn't very impressed, with the movie, but my 10yr old grandson's ability to 'get it', and accurately predict events and logically deduce the plot astounded me. He had to put his head under the covers for some of the Morlock scenes but was somehow able to nearly narrate what was happening on screen while doing so.

I watched "The Snow Walkers".... which I had seen some years ago. It was as good as I remembered it.... but you must consider the fact that I developed a huge crush on the actress Annabella Piugattuck... a true Inuit women who could actually do the things she did on screen.

Annie Oakley... another actress I had a crush on.. Gail Davis. Annie Oakley is VERY dated - but it occurred to me that it really was far less outlandish than many if not most of today's movies. HATE reading the bio's of all the actors and actresses in all those old TV Shows... they are all gone now.

Magnum PI... I didn't watch this when it was first aired, and I didn't watch it in syndication. I watched an episode somewhat recently... not my thing.

The Aviator - I can be stubborn... despite all the evidence I find it difficult to believe Howard Hughes was THAT whacko. Good movie, but you don't want to watch it with me as I will constantly mutter, under my breath, "Oh give me a break", accompanied by a lot of eye-rolling.

I came <> this close to watching "Risky Business", which I've never seen. I just have to face the fact that no matter how good his movies may be I don't like Tom Cruise. Really liked the planes in Top Gun and am anxiously awaiting the new Top Gun due out next year.

Laurel & Hardy... I forget the 'title' of the movie. Again, very dated... and I laughed my ass off. Abbot and Costello aren't as funny as I remember them being, still fun however. - JamesJM
