although on the road it's a a few miles. When you pass the Harris Feed Lot you're exactly 14 miles from the middle of my ranch. It's not visible from I-5, however. It's over the top of the highest mountains you see from I-5... to your left if you're traveling North... to the right if traveling South.
Here's a google earth screenshot showing Harris Ranch Feed Lot... my ranch where most of the yellow placemarkers are, and the town of Coalinga. NOT on my ranch are the placemarkers labeled Wright Mountain, 3 Rocks, Benitomite Mine, San Benito Mtn... and Poso Chane in the lower right. Poso Chane, by the way, I found by intense research. It was the central trading village for the native Americans in the central valley... meeting with other tribes from the valley, the Sierras, and the coastal tribes.
The place mark "Lookout Point" is the top of my ranch and the place mark "Flat Rocks White Creek" marks the lower part.
The photos were taken closest to the place marks "Cabin White Creek" and "Lookout Point".
