Oh to be 20 again....

And experiencing that first breath of freedom away from home.

this morning I hear Mason went thru the first day of practice which was a 'conditioning' test to see how fit the players are. Mason passed with flying colors... he's been working out with a 'mask' that emulates high altitude... (Western U's football field is the highest in the USA at 7,700').... did you even know they made such a thing? I didn't. Must have worked.

College classes don't start for another 2 weeks so only fall sport athletes are on campus at the moment. I met players from all over the USA.... I think every person staying at the Tonichi Inn was a parent dropping off their son for football season.

Ah to be 20, in the Rockies.... carefree, or somewhat so anyway.
