Never had it....

is it sweet? Is it an additive to a whiskey type drink (whiskey sour)....Since it's fermented is it more in a wine area...or like a cognac type deal?

Can't take sweet stuff since being naturally sweet myself my head would become a lolly pop like thing on my my neck.....and I hate to be licked unless it's by a dog that I know.
