some years ago I was inquiring about which classic movie I should try and Happy Noodle Boy, (no longer on the board), told me to give the Thin Man a try....and I did.

If you're looking for pure "golden age of Hollywood" you can do no better than the Thin Man series. You said it best.... Powell and Loy are perfection. The banter, the costumes, the set designs, everything about these movies is 'pure' Hollywood in the best sense of the term. - JamesJM
