Bought a puppy !!!

Gonna keep this short , or I'll break down into a blubbering idiot

A couple weeks ago we had to put down our male German Shepherd ,

Reader Digest version , he was 11 years old , getting close to 12 , for German Shepherds thats getting up there

and that's basically what happened to Manfred , or Fred as we called him......................just got old , ,

and , it was time........................

flashback a couple days , we bought another German Shepherd puppy , AKC , this time a female

those who don't know Shepherds , there really is a difference between East German and West German lineages

been a long time since we had a female , when the wife and I got married , our first dog together was a female , but ever since then , we've had all males

no particular reason why , just always worked out that way

been almost 12 years since we've had a puppy in the house ( were did the time go , )

been 20 years since we've had a female

we go to pick her up tomorrow morning
