Accompanied my wife for some educational business in Chicago one April. Got Cub tickets for an afternoon game. In the morning I bought an enormous leather jacket with fur around the collars. We sat up about 15 rows from 3rd base. Clear sunny day. Other than a Thanksgiving day in Anchorage this was the coldest day of my life. The wind from the lake came directly from over the right field fence, across the diamond, and up from 3rd base as if it was trying to freeze me. It almost did.
