The photo is what was known as "Leona's Cafe". My home town's most popular Mom & Pop eatery. There were others... but this one was the most popular. Many of my 'elder' family members worked there... mostly as teens and during the summer.
Quick Leona Story... of no interest to you whatsoever.Her name was Leona Reno... she had a daughter, Janice. Janice was in my class... from Kindergarten thru High School. After High School Leona's family moved away... and I never saw them again.
About a month ago I got a message via 'classmates'... I hadn't visited 'classmates' in years but for some reason the message came thru... and it was from "Janice". She lives in Oregon now.

Yeah I facebook regularly with a guy I have known since 5th grade.
He, as it turned out, is a highly regarded zookeeper/zoo management guy and an animal rights activist involved in fighting for endangered species.
He just sent me a CD he made from a tape recording he made of The Band live in the 70s.
