Don't like thinking this but...

can't help but suspect he's to be the sacrificial lamb.... all else is broke so the Bills are willing to risk him in hopes of miraculously righting the ship.

I think they'd be much better served thinking long term... take their lumps now, begin putting all else in order, then bring in at least a 'somewhat' seasoned rookie to be the face of the franchise in the coming years.
