The diagnosis... not sure why such quick diagnosis's are given.
Our dog Maddie, was given the "it could be any time now" speech... and each Christmas we would say "this might be our last Christmas with her... and we got 3 more Christmases!
Anyway, that's great news and awesome of the ultrasound vets.
Yeah. When I got the 2 week news, the hard part was telling my wife. She just loves that dog. The vet says, he has at best two weeks....she went "two weeks!" in shock and just sobbed in my arms. It was heartbreaking.
After the ultrasound the surgeons offered was done and I got the better news, I phoned her on my cell before driving home. That lifted a cloud off of her.
Pets are family.
